Currently, 7:24 is universal, and 1:10 is for HSK vacuum system tool holders. There are heat shrink types, hydraulic types, and also the ongoing ultrasonic series.

From a general formula perspective, here we introduce BT. It is 7:24. According to standards, there are about five or six types. For example, the NT type is traditional. Additionally, like BT, it uses Japanese standards, but we also have national standards now. There is also an American standard. In terms of BT applications, specifications such as 30, 40, and 50 are widely used for conventional machining. Regarding speed, it can be used at high or low speeds. Regarding load, it is quite universal and can be used at low loads in high schools as well. It is mainly used in the market for conventional machining and mold processing, such as precision machining in the electronics and communication industries.

III. Choosing a carving machine tool holder according to the machine tool and working conditions

There are many types of carving machine tool holders, so how to choose a tool holder depends first on the classification and positioning of the enterprise's products. The type of processing depends on what kind of machine tool is purchased. The tool holder is installed at the interface between the machine tool and the spindle. Once the machine tool and spindle are selected, the general types of tool holders are also determined. For rough and conventional machining, the universal BT type interface is usually chosen; for finishing, the ISO series small tool holders may be selected. They are lightweight and can operate at high speeds, including the HSK series.

For example, when selecting a BT30 series product on the machine tool, it indicates that the BT30 series tool holder equipped on the machine tool is chosen. There are many connectors under the BT30 series, and the tools installed vary according to the different connectors. For precision machining, it is recommended to choose the HSK series sleeve. Additionally, in finishing, there are heat expansion chucks that utilize the principles of thermal expansion, cooling, and contraction to achieve error-free clamping. The type of tool holder can be determined based on each enterprise's processing situation. Furthermore, in special fields like the ultrasonic series, if conventional processing methods cannot be achieved, new tool holders may also be adopted. Tool holders will develop according to market needs to meet market demands.
